Graphic Designer / Production Art - SEPTEMBER 2016
CanadaPrintKing.com / Omniscreen ltd. requires a graphic designer for prepress & graphics production. This is a hands on role that includes some production work in our finishing department. Duties include:
Pre-press and production using a Roland wide format printer.
Pre-press layouts for flatbed printers & digital cutter.
Pre-press for screen printing film positives.
Original artwork for customers.
Assisting finishing department.
Qualifications:
Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly with vector illustration (Illustrator or CorelDraw).
Experience in a printing or sign shop setting is preferable.
Knowledge of decal, banner & sign fabrication techniques is an asset
Screen printing knowledge is an asset.
Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Full time / Permanent Position : M-F, 8am to 4:30pm.

Foreman - Print Production POSITION FILLED
CanadaPrintKing.com / Omniscreen Ltd. requires a foreman / production planner for a busy large format digital & screen print shop. Print industry experience is essential. This is a hands-on position on the shop floor co-ordinating & scheduling print jobs in a fast changing, quick moving production environment. The candidate will require excellent interpersonal skills to manage a production staff of approx. 7 employees. You will be co-ordinating production scheduling with our customer service to meet our clients deadlines. If your experience is in flexo, offset, packaging, etc. that's fine. We're looking for someone with a broad base of print industry experience.
Digital print production is our primary focus for this position, as approx 80% of our production is digital / 20% screen print.
As we are still a relatively small company, this position will require a hands-on approach that will include assisting in production & finishing when needed.
